Once upon a time mothers gathered their children around them for quality time that couldn't be beat. Bible study, great books, lessons from mommy's knee helped raise righteous children in a wholesome atmosphere. Time and roles may have changed, but busy mothers still can have priceless quality time with their children--enjoying family fun, Bible study, storybooks and lessons from mother's knee while in front of their computer's screen. "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Many years ago, before there was rain, God told Noah to build a boat, a BIG boat. God called it an ark.
Noah and his family needed the big boat because a flood was coming.
Do you know what a flood is? It's a lot of water in a little time -- too much for rivers to hold.
God warned Noah to get ready for the biggest flood of all, caused by 40 days and nights of rain. He asked Noah to save all His creatures by taking them into the ark two by two.

The flood was going to cover all the world, and the only safe place for animals or people would be in Noah's big boat.
So Noah did as God said. He made an ark and then filled it with God's wonderful animals, saving them for us to see and enjoy today. Aren't you glad Noah listened to God?
